What books would you suggest to other Masons old or new?

Civilization One, by Knight and Butler It suggests to lost secret of masonry is the secret of reproducible standards weights and measures, handed down by white robed individuals from somewhere, about 1000 years BEFORE sumerian cunieform script was handed down.

A book I recommend for everyone is "The Hiram Key" by Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas. This is an excellant read and has some interesting information in it, especially for those brothers out there who love doing Masonic research.

Sir Knight- I read that one and also enjoyed it but I have to say that Robert Lomas' last book was a dissapointment to me.

Robert Lomas has his ups and downs, but the Hiram Key really got me to do a little more research and I actually found some of the information on the two mummys referrenced in the book in a that my wife used in college. I thought it was really interesting that they could find this info and how they connected it to Masonic lore.
