Last evening the WM stated his priority was to represent the Blue Lodge at YR and AASR and he'd schedule the 'work' in another 60-75 days when his schedule opened up.
OK - that's his right. But we've elected two to receive degrees and two more are out for investigations. Who wants to be elected to enter and have the anchor tossed out to delay the process for two and a half months?
I pointed out that we need only have a warden present to open and we could substitute from the floor or visiting brethren as needed.
He accused me of 'circumventing his authority', corrected my thought and stormed out as the Supreme Authority of the Lodge.
Anyone have experience working with an obstinate sitting WM? I'd take some tips to help me best work.
