Dear Brothers,
I am requesting a small favor which I hope isn't too much to ask. i don't know if this is the proper forum, but I hope you will oblige. My name is Bro Jerry Torres, a master mason in good standing from Lodge Isarog #33 of the GL of the Philippines. I reside here in the Philippines, where I am currently a medical intern finishing my medical studies. My girl is in Raritan NJ, and her birthday will be on April 9th (this coming Sunday). In connection with this, I would like to ask if there is any brother willing to help me send flowers to her on my behalf. My problem is that I didn't know that flower delivery services take a few days to deliver. I was able to send a card and a gift, but I'm afraid I don't have much time ordering flowers online. I still would like her to receive some flowers, knowing it would mean a lot. I usually don't ask for help or assistance from brethren whenever I can, but I ran out of time looking for a florist. If anyone is willing to help, please contact me through email. Three long-stemmed roses would be fine, and if any brother(s) would be kind enough to send them for me, i would be very grateful.
btw, I plan to propose to her when she comes home on September. She knows about Freemasonry, and has a good impression of it, although she has yet to meet any brother there in NJ. I hope my cabletow extends to your part of the world, and I'm hoping that Freemasonry will play a part in my long-distance relationship.
Thank you, my brothers.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Bro. Jerry Torres, MD
